The Program is a paid internship in the USA that will launch applicants into the tech industry and expose them to how Google operates and does businesses.

Primarily, the objective of the Google North America MBA Internship is to help enhance, grow and drive meaningful upgrades to the businesses of the applicants. 

This internship is intended for candidates currently in their first year of a two-year full-time MBA degree program, with an anticipated graduation date between March 2022 and July 2022.

About Google North America MBA Internship

Google North America MBA Internship is a paid internship that will immerse you into the tech industry on a high-impact team. You’ll enhance your skill set, be challenged with rigorous work, grow your network and drive meaningful change in our business.

Outside of your core work, you will participate in a high-touch program that exposes you to Google’s business operations, connects you with interns and Googlers, and invests in your personal and professional development. You may pick up a new technical skill, while also building a relationship with a 1:1 mentor and hearing from company leadership through an exclusive speaker series.

Interns will be considered for potential full-time opportunities in their host organizations based on their internship performance.

MBA interns are placed in teams across the business according to their background and interests. 

Eligibility for the Google 2022 North America MBA Internship

Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the United States for the duration of the internship program.

As of Fall 2021, must be in the first year of a full-time MBA program and have the ability to complete a full-time consecutive 12 week program beginning in May or June 2022.

Selection Process for the Google North America MBA Internship

The Company will review applications and interview candidates on a rolling basis through April 2022.

Selected candidates will be asked to complete a supplemental form where they can express their location and functional areas of interest. Updates will be provided as the status of applications changes in the recruiting process.

Candidates will be matched with teams based on their backgrounds and interests.

What is the application process and when does it close?

The MBA Internship application opens on September 14, 2021. All you need to do is upload your resume to apply! You must apply before November 16, 2021. We are unable to accept any late applications.

Who is eligible to apply for an internship?

As of Fall 2021, must be in the first year of a full-time MBA program and have the ability to complete a full-time consecutive 12 week program beginning in May or June 2022. While we do not have internship opportunities for Master’s students, we recommend Master’s students review 2-3 months prior to their grad date for full-time positions that fit their background and interest.

Is US citizenship required for an MBA internship within the US?

No, citizenship is not required. However, this application is intended for candidates who have work authorization in the U.S. for the summer internship (this includes students who have work authorization via CPT/OPT). If you do not have authorization to work in the U.S. for the summer, we recommend visiting for internship opportunities in the location where you are eligible for summer work authorization. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located to work in the United States for the 12-week duration of the internship program.
