There’s a Southwest co-branded consumer credit card for most types of Southwest flyer and all three cards are, until the end of today, offering the same excellent welcome bonus that includes a Companion Pass. United brings back Los Angeles – Shanghai & boosts Los Angeles – Hong Kong

The main route news out of United Airlines yesterday was the announcement that the airline would launch new services to Marrakesh, Cebu, and Medellin, but there was other promising route news too as the airline confirmed its plans to bring back its route between LA and Shanghai and told us that it would boost capacity on its route between LA and Hong Kong.

The welcome offers on all three Southwest consumer cards were updated in early February and since then they have all been offering successful new applicants the chance to earn a valuable Companion Pass as well as 30,000 bonus points. Unfortunately, this offer will end on 11 March (this coming Monday) so anyone who’s interested in getting a Companion Pass the ‘easy way’ has less than 4 days in which to jump on this deal.
